Character Overview

All the characters in Super Smash Bros Melee have different advantages and abilities. Shown here, are how each of the 25 different characters stack up against each other. All characters have been compared by size, running speed, and jumping ability.

Weight Classes:
The characters in Melee have been broken down into three categories: Lightweights, middleweights, and heavyweights. The lightweights tend to be faster characters, but this isn't always the case - Heavyweight Captain Falcon has the fastest running speed of all characters, while Jigglypuff is one of the slower ones.
